BDS Manchester (2001) / GDC 70867
Drew returned to university as a mature student (26!) and graduated from The University of Manchester with his Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 2001.
After graduation and taking a year out travelling, he worked in a busy NHS practice before setting up his own practice in his adopted home town of Dunoon.
The practice grew and gained an excellent reputation for being friendly, caring and dedicated to the best in dentistry, before being sold in 2018.
Drew worked as a covid vaccinator in various clinics across the Greater Glasgow area, throughout the covid pandemic.
Following this Drew joined the Public Dental Service covering several hospital and clinics across Argyll & Bute.
He was latterly seconded to the Dental Outreach Centre in Campbeltown where he tutored and mentored final year students from The University of Glasgow.
He joined Largs Dental Surgery in November 2023 and is delighted to be back working within a great team dedicated to doing all they can for their patients.
Away from work, Drew is keen on sports, especially cycling, sailing, golf, curling and watching rugby on TV. He's even been known to tread the boards with a bit of am-dram and panto! (Oh yes he has!)
